I left my appartment in Chiang Mai with a few days to kill and no real plan.
I probably got a bit carried away exploring the hills of northern Thailand but it turned out to be a real adventure.
Of the two towns I visited (Pai and Mae Hong Son) I found the first one to be heavily touristed and the second one to be quite charming.
I had three excursions over the period and I made a video for each of them.
I escaped Chiang Mai and went to Pai. Then I escaped Pai and got lost.
On my second motorbike excusion from the town of Pai I planned a circular route through the hills. I never made it.
After riding to the remote town of Mae Hong Son via the main road I needed to get back to the motorbike rental place in Pai. This is my attempt at doing so via the more direct (but much slower) route across the hills.
